This two track conference, one track for first-time attendees and another track for returning attendees, introduced CPAs with four to 10 years of accounting experience to other future leaders and exposed them to valuable lessons which they brought back to their firms. First-time attendees were immersed in relationship building, leadership principles and practice management basics with other professionals at their level, along with partners and presenters committed to developing “career coachable” employees within CPAmerica’s member firms. Returning attendees gained awareness of how the firm works and how to be successful in the next stage at a firm by learning how to build and manage relationships, advance firm metrics, and strategize firm and personal growth.
The agenda for the conference covered a variety of topics. Topics included: how to best contribute to the firm’s success; networking; career development; strategic thinking; firm metrics; problem solving; and business development skills.
