Ag Accounting

Agribusiness is a unique industry. Widmer Roel understands that through firsthand experience.

Whether we’re talking bookkeeping for farmers, grain measure-ups, inventory valuations, agronomy centers, fuel distribution companies, market positions or storage expansion projects, our trusted ag accounting consultants go beyond the standard audit, review or compilation service. We provide industry-specific approaches to better serve your operation in today’s competitive agricultural landscape.

We provide industry-specific approaches for:

  • Farms of all sizes
  • Cooperatives
  • Elevators
  • Suppliers
  • & more

Our ag consultants help you determine your financing needs for projects you’d like to see in your future. For example, we advise on local and regional crop growth trends and their potential impacts on your growing operation. We can even take a closer look at your operation for assurance needs that don’t require an audit of financial statements.

We help your growing operation gain an edge through:

  • Forecasting, budgeting and bookkeeping
  • Succession planning, mergers and acquisitions
  • Tax planning, preparations and audits
  • Assurance and consulting services
  • Supervising engagements
