As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, so too does our response at Widmer Roel. We continue to focus on serving clients while also doing what we can to protect the health and well-being of all.
Beginning Thursday, March 19th, we are moving to a remote working environment for the Audit Department. This means that our physical office locations will be minimally staffed, and our professionals will be collaborating with you and each other through other means—by phone, video, email, and through our online portal.

In-Person Client Meetings
We want to do our part to keep clients and employees healthy. Therefore, until further notice we are cancelling all in-person client meetings and on-site visits. We will mail your completed tax return to you and work with you to find acceptable alternatives.
Our online portal https://www.clientaxcess.com, allows you to share documents quickly and securely with us. Instruction on access and use for the portal can be requested from your Widmer Roel professional. If you do not currently have a Widmer Roel portal, please reach out to your Widmer Roel professional. For existing Widmer Roel portal users, please continue to use the portal you have been using. In addition to the client portal, tax clients can mail documents to us.
The IRS has extended the filing deadline from April 15, 2020 to July 15, 2020. All taxpayers and businesses will have this additional time to file and make payments without interest or penalties.
Reduced Office Hours
We plan to have the office open from 10 am to noon for you to drop off any documents. Our phones will be answered from 8am-5pm.
